Here's a great way to name your files, I don't know why I haven't shared it to my id and all of you mofos, but here it is now.
If you create a time sensitive file, for example, write or name the file according to the date, plus add three more characters. So, you're writing a journal, for example. Let's say it's today, 27 May 2005? Save the file as "20050527-01.txt." Obviously by now you know what 20050527 means, but what about the "-01," you ask? Well, that's your first file for the day. You can now make the next few files/journals according to sequence, which really makes sense! For example, "20050527-02.txt"
Don't worry, it's a bit impossible to reach all ninety-nine journals/files in one day. Well, if that happens use the next days date! Otherwise, start with "20050527-001.txt." I suspect this nomenclature won't work if you have WIN95 or earlier.
